Create the Perfect Fresh Fruit Cake Roll for Mother’s Day

Ingredients:
  • 1 Dutch Apron Bakery Strawberry Cheesecake Cake Roll
  • Buttercream frosting
  • Piping bag and 1M tip (or any large, open star tip)
  • Fresh fruits
Instructions:
  1. Cut the Strawberry Cheesecake Cake Roll in half.
  2. Place one half of the cake roll on a small serving platter and put the other half back in the refrigerator. You can enjoy it later.
  3. Take your piping bag, place the tip inside, then fill with buttercream frosting.
  4. Time to pipe! Hold the bag as straight as possible. Squeeze to make a star then slowly move to the side. Make an arc over the top of the star and go all the way around until you get back to the starting point. Slowly release pressure on the bag and pull away.
  5. Repeat Step 4 until the whole cake roll is covered in beautifully piped rosettes.
  6. Arrange the fresh fruit on top of the cake roll to complete this indulgent dessert.
