What You’ll Need

  • Two decorative glasses to serve your Chocolate Cake Shakes.

Storage Information

If you have leftovers or are making your Chocolate Cake Shake ahead of time, pour the milkshake into an airtight container, leaving room at the top. Place in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 days.

Tips for Making a Chocolate Cake Shake

  • Get creative with your flavors and garnishes! Consider substituting the vanilla ice cream with chocolate ice cream to give the shake a more fudgy flavor. You can also incorporate colored marshmallows or your favorite candies to make your cake shake even more personal to you!
  • We recommend using a higher-quality ice cream for this recipe. The thicker it is, the better consistency your cake shake will have.
  • Let your ice cream thaw for at least 10 minutes at room temperature before blending. This should make it easier to blend without the need for more liquid which will thin out your shake.
